Sexsmith Community Calendar for Winter of 2022. Free family fun day on February 19, 2022 at the large outdoor rink at 101 Avenue. Rink locations and Arena schedule available by Calling Clint Frolick at 780-814-3034.
Page 2. Sexsmith and District chamber of commerce. ASnnual membership renewals will be mailed out in early February. The Annual General meeting will be held March 10, 2022. contact the chamber at sexsmithchamber@gmail.com
Page 3. Sexsmith Wellness Coalition.Call Melody for more info on any of the following program at 780-882-1974. Pre-K Playtime Thursday Mornings January 13 to March 31. Snowshoes available to borrow for Kids age 8 to 12 and adults. Seniors Kitchen is every second Thursday. Adult drop in pickleball and Volleyball weekly with drop in fee of two dollars.
Page 4. Teen Speak Easy first two Wednesdays of each month starting in April from 3:30 until 6:00. Library Story time starts March 2, 2022 for six week sessions. For more info call 780-568-4333. New take away crafts every two weeks. Once indoor Covid restrictions are lifted family movie nights, L2D two day workshops, after school crafts, and whist night will resume. If interested in volunteering for the library on evenings there is an interest squad meeting February 10th at 7pm. If interested call Sheryl at 780-568-4333.,
Page 5. FCSS Community Events. Chautauqua Day day festivities to be held June 4th, 2022. Sexsmith Fall Showcase of Programs outdoor event to be held on August 27, 2022. For details contact Naomi at 780-568-4345. Nominations are open for Sexsmith Family and Community Support Service Community Volunteer of the Month. Submit volunteer name, picture, and contact information to fcss@sexsmith.ca.
Page 6.  COmmunity Council Meetings are open to the public. These meetings take place every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month or Tuesdays if Monday falls on a holiday at the Sexsmith and area community centre at 6:30pm. Please shovel snow from your driveway and sidewalk onto your own property. It is part of the Snow and Ice Bylaw number 811. To recieve city alerta regarding snow removal, community events, road closures, public hearings, garbage and recycling sign up for Connect by All-Net.
